Ingredient Sourcing & QualityUpdated 5 hours ago
While our ingredients are not organic, we place great importance on where our food comes from. We carefully select trusted suppliers to ensure our meals are high quality, nutritious, and great tasting.
Meat
All of our meat is sourced through W. Bunting, a local family butcher. Their beef, lamb, and chicken come from their own farms and trusted partners across Norfolk and the South East.
Fish
We work with JK Mayfair and Direct Seafoods, a local supplier recognised for quality and sustainability, and a two-time winner of the **MSC UK Fresh Fish Foodservice Supplier of the Year award.
Eggs & Dairy
Our dairy products and free-range British eggs are sourced from a trusted local UK supplier to ensure freshness and quality.
We’re committed to knowing exactly where our ingredients come from, so you can feel confident about every meal.
Organic Claims
There are strict laws around when businesses can use the claim ‘organic’ on their products and packaging. In order to do this, the business selling the product has to apply and pay for organic certification from a recognised certification body (such as the Soil Association), which is a very costly and complex process.
As a small business, this is unfortunately not viable for us at the moment, however, our ingredient quality and standards are our highest priority. Be aware that many small brands use the organic claim when they haven’t actually been certified; we would love to be able to do this also but we are sticklers for the rules!
Additional Information
Our meals are not halal-certified. We source our meat from trusted UK suppliers and butchers to ensure it is high quality and safe, but it does not meet halal certification standards.
Our meals are not pasteurised. Instead, they’re freshly cooked just as you would at home, then rapidly frozen to lock in nutrients, flavour, and quality.
