Heating & Storage GuidelinesUpdated an hour ago

Storage

Your meals will arrive frozen and should be stored in the freezer immediately after delivery.

If a meal defrosts but remains below 5°C, you can store it in the fridge and consume within 48 hours. Cooking times may vary, so always ensure the food is piping hot throughout before serving. Meals should not be refrozen once thawed.

Heating

All of our meals and snacks are designed to be cooked straight from frozen for the best results. Heating instructions can be found on the packaging and on the product page within the Build your Box section.

As appliances vary, cooking times are guidelines only. Always ensure food reaches an internal temperature of 70°C for at least 2 minutes, then allow it to cool before serving your child.

Once cooked, keep food refrigerated if not eaten immediately and consume within 48 hours. If travelling, we suggest the use of ice packs when taking these out and about.

Our new PP-lined paperboard pots are microwave-safe but not suitable for oven use. Please transfer meals to an oven-proof container before oven heating.

Snacks are great for lunchboxes and picnics, but should always be heated according to the instructions first, rather than defrosted and eaten chilled, to ensure food safety for young children.

Air Fryer Guidelines

We haven’t tested our recipes in air fryers, and models vary widely, so we can’t provide official instructions. Our microwave and oven guidance has been thoroughly tested to ensure the best results.
